Ho Ho Ho

So many years of celebrating Christmas, dear and I have not bought in any christmas tree for this season. One thing we see it is no point at all when the kids do not really appreciate the lighting and the decos, second we feel it is just a day thing as compared to CNY and Raya which atleast they are celebrated for more than a day.

Well, let's try to be different this year as we are a bigger family now (dino2 is added :-P), so sought out the advent calendar and activity from the net, so that the month of Dec (Advent) will be more meaningful for Tews family.
Try out http://www.smmp.com/Advent/Advent.htm and http://apmethodist.org/advent-activity.htm

Wonder why this year, I am a a bit excited to have a christmas tree at home. Dear found something unique to be our "special" christmas tree, and yes, we will set up one that is definitely not conventional. :-P

Scotish Golfer

I just sent off my dear scotish friend few days ago. He is an old nice guy, funny and very fatherly to me. We met a few times mainly for the official duty. I remembered the first time we brought him out for dinner was somewhere in Shah Alam, my principal's golf club, mainly because he like playing golf. I always imagine him wearking kilt playing golf, it must be a funny scene.

We met at ZOUK club for clubbing last few months ago, and he was such sporting that he danced and had fun with the members and friends.

I like him mainly he always remembers me, always ask about my studies and show interest in what I do. I felt warm because he was such a father figure to me. We will meet again soon next year and this time I am flying over.

I am eagerly to see Edinburg, Royal Mile and the Highlands..... if God permits :-)

Dr. E T

Well, today I supposed to be conferred with a title for my qualification which is supposed to have been earned more than 10 years ago.

When I got hold of the letter of invitation, I was not really surprised because I seldom take "title" seriously. Dear was saying that I am not proud of what I have and most importantly, not being grateful for God's blessing.

I agree with her point about being ungrateful to God's blessing, but I am not that kind of person that see "title and name" seriously. I know some people have been working hard to get it, and now as if I am just sneering at them. Well, since young, my parents seldom shout about my achievements and awards that I got, it has planted in my heart - no big deal - kind of attitude towards it. I didn't go for my any convocations except my college graduation day. So, no big deal for this title given to me this time.

I am thinking what should I do with my PhD award in future. This time, I am really looking forward to that day, because it is not about sharing my joy and honour with my dear and dinos, but it is going to be a family trip to my university in Uk and a family trip in Europe too.

Out of sudden, I start thinking what should others call me with the "Dr" title, I guess Dr E.T. is the best!!! haha :-)

Heaven

Well, any chocolate cake that goes with chocolate ice cream is always heaven to me..

Thank you dear for late-night hard work !!!

Almighty-Neat !!!

What is this all about??? Notice the labels on those drawers??? You won't believe it this happened to me !!!!

Here they are!!!!

Dear was complaining that I always simply chuck those clothes into any drawers. So, the "almighty-neat" dear has come out this "brilliant" idea to keep me from doing it wrong. What you see that the "outing gear" are for those clothes that are not meant for wearing them at home.....

Crap!! Crap!!! :-P

Dino1 was having his graduation day that Friday. I received "humorous" comments from his teacher:

Dino1 would laugh all his heart - loudly - whenever he heard a funny jokes. Well, that what a joke serves, right??

Dino1 would admit his wrongdoing by himself, though it is not being "detected" - Well, this is one value we have been teaching him. Dear has been in tear many times when we found him keeping "wrong" things by himself and started creating stories to her. Phew!!! Now this has been confirmed by his teacher he has changed, we are so thankful to God after much prayer.

Dino1 has his way of doing thing, eventhough the teacher has given the instruction. Well, I won't kill his sense of creativity as long as he completed his task in his own special way. Teacher commented him being "stiff neck" haha
:-P Perhaps it is from me, I guess.

Dino1 was choosy during his meal, especially he will not eat the egg yolk. Dear and I were aware of this, we are just puzzled that why would the teacher want them to eat the egg yolk though he doesn't like it. For me, no big deal...

Dino1 likes to sing and dance. Well, singing is his gift I guess, perhaps I should groom him to be next Malaysia idol
hehehe:-P. Malaysian Idol Daniel won his award at 7, he is at 6. Good potential.

We thank God for dino1, though at times he is really a "pain" at our necks, but he is truly special to us. Though we are in such "academic achievement competitive" environment, I am glad we have not "super-stress' about this area on him. (Though we got unexpected result from him)

We pray that he will be fearing God always and using the gifts He has given him to the fullness.

Don't try this, Dad!!!!

That night, because it had been hard work for few late nights oil burning and crasy-early-morning-to-school-car-driver, my face turned glooming and dull, so out of the urge I put on the "cheap-skate- SK II" to make it "bright and shine".

As I put the mask on, closing my eyes and relaxing on the bed. SUDDENLY dino2 cried and yelled loudly, and jump into dear's arms... Apparently, he was scared of seeing daddy doing the facial job... so I quickly took down the mask and tried to comfort him. After much hard work and sweet talk, then only he recognised the daddy me!!!

There went my piece of mask into the bin. Wonder dino2 crying mainly because of the mask or he just can't accept that daddy will do facial treat sometimes at home. I must educate him what it means as a metro-sexuality male nowadays :-P
