Being a bit sensitive to fashion, how could I not buying one. :-)

In fact there is a story behinds, all proceeds from it will go to a cancer research foundation.(www.laf.org)

I got one for JT knowing him would really dare to try new fashion or trendy stuff, also one for K. Hoping that they take heed of what character we value in them.

I am sure it is going to bang in Malaysia. In fact, i saw them in Carrefore at Wangsa Maju. If not, try Topshop and Dp.

If you really want it, our dear MF has ordered thru net, ask her where to order.

JT and K, you can show off a bit at this point of time hey :-P

Calm down, dear I am very much an accountant, after the conversion to RM, it is still cheaper to buy at home :-*

But it was really cool to me, packed with people that share the same interest...

so, many Asian have this mis-concept where it will be "bigger" for the "guoi lo" because they are bigger size in body shape.

No no, as i surveyed most statues, this is what they look like...I check it out for you if I would go to see David's statues in Florence next round.

Yes, it must be faster using boat for rescue. In fact there is no bike, nor car in Venice at all. We walked for the whole Venice, if not we have to pay 10.50 Euro for a day travel card each just for water bus.

That's why the road sigsn you saw previous are so imporatnt, but are they helpful???? :-P

Thought of getting it for Mr. Zen but hold on.. let's check the price first.

27 Euro if I am not mistaken, apparently this is made of lace which Venice is famous of...

Sorrylah , Mr. Zen, too expensive for poor sky :-P

Mosaic flower

This is one of the example work outside the "music garden", amazing, isn't it?

Music garden

mosaic house
Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
This is music garden where we can't take photos inside the building. We paid 7 euro just to see this building, another great work in Barcelona city.

The theme is flower, therefore it is called music garden where the opera, concert and play are held. As we heard the tour guide explain the work of this music garden, we were touched. Because it was build in the industrial time where trees were cleared. The designer wanted to send the message of the beauty of nature in that era, so we saw huge way of putting the mosaics in the form of flowers, be for the floor, wall and columns.

God's creation is always we need to treasure most at this point of time....

you see a wondering soul here - just T-shirt only at night.

We usually will visit places of interest for day and night time, to have different feel. The weather is so good that we are like in Genting, in fact, warmer.

No, just fooling you. This is the great art work by Gaudi in Parc Guell. Most of the buiding and columns are made of ceramic mosaics

Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
Another addiction for me here is the milk chocolate digestive biscuits - that is why I still on and off search for one in Mark and Spensor or Cold Storage. It was so expensive in Malaysia and you can't have it everyday. Over here, you will envy me, I got it only 34p for a medium size, which you pay RM 8+ in M&S in Malaysia.

I know Mr. Zen likes it very much also :-)

Milk

Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
Oh dear, this is what make me addicted with, and I really brought this habit back - Nescafe with milk, Milo with milk and tea with milk...

Milk over here is so yummy and creamy. They have various types - full cream, scheme and semi-scheme. I don't really understand what does semi-schemed mean, but I just love milk in UK. :-)

My lips crack once I came over in Sheffield, so I have urged dear to bring me a lip gloss.

On and off, you will see me put on the lip gloss just like the ladies do their make up. For me, I think it is VERY ill maner to talk to someone with lips cracked, so it is a good maner to me. Wonder what would the dinos think of dad if they saw me doing this in Malaysia :-)

Well, I do put some "lip stick" on my dinos - well - on their bums basically when they were sore. This is advice from my all-knowing mum :-) and mind you it works !!!

Heater

Heater
Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
How I wish the flat I stay has this fire place....

Neh, I only has the normal-gas-generated heater, which is 2x5, instilled near one side of the wall in my room.

The things that I find funny is that the local turn on the heater during the day when I feel so stuffy and hot, but turn them off during the night... In fact, they are so low tolerant to coldness compared to me BUT I need the heat at night, not the day time...

Well, I know from a British friend, saying that this is energy saving, because you won't feel cold when you sleep - soft of hibernation theory.

Well, don't bother - because dear is coming to join me soon and I will have the heat then, yes body heat :=~

Shower

Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
I know the weather here does not make me sweat compared in Kl, but I still want to take my shower twice a day. One in the freezing cold morning,(I woke up as early as 5am here) and the other one ALSO in the freezing cold night.(usually after 11pm)

The two girls gave me a funny look everytime I enjoy my shower :-@

Do you like this???

Dog in the bus
Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
Well, one thing I notice in Sheffield, is that they love - literally love, obsessed with pets especially dogs. Can you imagine a big giant dog in the bus?

The bus company actually has a special space for them, where you can either put your baby push-chair, people in the wheel motor-chair, or your dogs...

Mind you these are not the small tiny cute lovely dogs, they are fury, big and SMELLY one...

and the old folks will smile and pat on them..Me!!! 5 feet away from me.

Oh another scene that amuses me is that a mother carried the baby, and pushed the dog in the push chair. Classic scene and you won't find it in Malaysia.

Norfolkpark-kitchen

norfolkpark-kitchen
Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
Ok, this is a NICE and ClEAN kitchen in my flat...

I was shocked to see how messy is the kitchen when I first arrived there - plates piled up, mugs and cup around, pot and pans un-washed, stains over the stove and table...

Guess who I am staying with in the flat???? Two YOUNG, UNDERGRADUTE ladies !!! Oh man, don't even think that they will be tidy and clean person like me.. they will only wash up when they run out of plates etc...

Kind enough they quickly clean some of them for me to use- well only 20% of it...

Dear and I are understanding, so no big deal. We lived with undergradutes before during my stay in UK.

By the way, their name are Amber and Forence, quite pretty, not really typical british plump girls that you see in the street... (sorry, I am little mean here, you can't help to compare if you meet italian and france ladies before) BUT they are helpful, nice and friendly..

This is where I stay in Sheffield UK. A student village that is located at Norfolk Park.

It is not a good walk because it is at the hill top. Walking up is killing me, luckily I got mu unlimited travel student bus card. Going down, well why bother if you have the unlimited travel card, hey :-)

The weather is fantastic, no rain so far. The first thing I get online is to check the weather, very much british-like....:-) weather is the open topic for conversation.

I tell you who I stay with soon.....

Sheffield

Sheffield
Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
There I reached Sheffield City, the fifth biggest city in UK.

I had some "casualty" when I touched down at Manchester Airport. Thought that there will be a coach to Sheffield but shockingly got the news I have to wait till next morning for the next ride. Oh man....

Luckily I am used to UK system and immediately I got hold of a train heading to Sheffield. Took a bus and get to my flat there.

So here I am, I think I will enjoy the city more when dear join me soon :-)

She said I am demanding, not only the cloth I want to bring, even the skincare, lotion, hair cream etc that keep me looking good all the time... Just found out she sms another dear that she felt stressful doing this job...:-P

Well, I must say she did a good job...
Love you , dear

Calendar

calendar
Originally uploaded by Skyhover.
My creative and artistic ah-nie have drawn out this calendar for dino1. We are papering him for our departure to Europe, telling him when and what he can do during our absence.

We failed miserably as dino1 cried last few days when we brought up the topic about we taking off soon. This calendar I guess makes him miss us even more. Gracious dear even prepared a bag of goodies for dino1 to unwrap an item a day, just to keep him excited.

We feel bad really as you can see he is having semester test too, can’t coach him much so we need to encourage him a bit as we can. I think he is pretty looking forward to the family outing this Sat, his music class and Sunday worship. Thanks for those who help us to take him here and there.

My dear dino2, well my mum said he is going to get his bits if he keep crying… oh dear, make me miss him even dearly. I definitely will call him up everyday to see how he is doing….

I miss all of you
