" ZE, Can we discuss something important with you?"
"what is that, dad?"
"ok, if you see a red paper hanging on the knob of the door, that means mum and dad has something serious to do.... that means it is daddy and mummy private time togather.. ok??"

"But.. why??/"
"Because we want you to learn about people privacy, that means people need to have their own time themselves!!"
"Ok, I will go in throughg the toilet door then..." (We shared an attached bathroom with ZE)

Good CNY

This CNY is such a peaceful one for me and I basically just enjoyed being "in no hurry" mode. Sleep as late as I could, and also wake up as late as I could at the same time. Eat as much as i want at the same time I still watch my diet. (I met my old secondary school mates, and proud that I am the only one that it still fit appearance-wise, with no extra flesh around the belly :-)). Spend a lot of time with family too, basically to allow the two dinos a "relax mode" a bit, wonder they would confuse later why the father has been so kind lately.

Most of my LG mates are not around, perhap it is a way to give me some space too. Hehe... Xing Lian Mong Ernn (Godma sms this to us, we were amazed how she picks up Manderine in such fashionable way - cool)

Funny this year we ate Yee San early. When the chop stick stired the dish and relative members "chanting" the new year wishes. I am thanking God for family that holds us unite togather.

And also remind myself to keep some of the good bits of chinese culture. I know for sure I have a legacy to leave for my dinos and surely it must be from above.

I really miss this celebrative mode in my folks' neighbourhood. During the eve of CNY, the firework will "shot" up here and there.I remembered when I was a child, my family will do the same. I am amazed by the creativity of the designers' work and also feeling "oh dear, the money just burst like firework". Happened to bring my "stuff" so dear took a few shots...

Every new year eve, it is the Tew's culture to have reunion dinner and we will stay up late night for our parent. In the old saying, if the child is staying late awake on the eve, it brings long life to the parents. Well, I am not that good child by this standard then.

This year, little dino is hanging real tight with me, I wonder why. He hugs me tight when the fire cracker "exploding". It reminds me I need to a "wise" father to him again and I am sure the Lord's wisdom is what I need...

New year, new task, new role , new direction... hey, seem verything is new...
