Fantastic 4

We are Fantastic 4 we joke about it. It was a good team meeting which we all turned up this round in London office.

The team made of 2 colleagues from Scotland, 1 from Manchester and myself from KL.

JW and BG, are nice funny bits and talk real fast like bullet train. Luckily, they won't mind me asking them to repeat when I don't get what they said :-P

JW just turned 50, a funny single man who will talk all way in his way, you can't easily interrupt. I remembered there is one conversation on the tele-conference with him, I only managed to say " Hi J, How are you?" and "Good to talk (huh??) to you". He has sweet tooth as I am, he can't go away without desert every meal, he sure introduced me a lot of good stuff every meal.

GB 40, is a nice lady, like shopping a lot. She is the one that lured me to Covent Garden and I find a new high street to shop, a nice piazza to sit outside a cafe and have a nice cup of coffee. I told dear I must bring her to Covent Garden high street when she is with me. It is like those time we were in Italy, great discovery :-)

ER, 52 who is from Manchester, a real close friend to me, more like a good sister who take good care of a brother. She is the oldest among us, I click with her because we joined the team the same day, we went through induction together and work on may projects also. She likes to walk and enjoys sunshine, which she brought me to walk around Victoria, Westminster and bridges around our office.

Myself, though I am not the youngest, but receive equal respect from them. They seek my advice and opinion on their work or project and I don't feel I am any lower than them. Just that social wise, they will treat me like little brother :-) I thank God that I always have someone senior than me to work with which I reckon I mix pretty well with seniors - I tend to be a bit dominating with equal peers :-P

Another shocking news I got as we get to know one another better - Our boss A, who is the YOUNGEST, 34. Yes !!! That shocks me when I see the way she manages people and projects, insights that she has which we can't think of - I started to appreciate the culture that people value ability and knowledge you have, rather looking at the seniority.

We are fantastic 4, why? we are totally moving into something that 4 of us (excluding our boss) would not reckon and expect - and that is really FANTASTIC for us and we all keep telling one another - we will get on eventually :-)
