Toothbrush Story

Good mama, dear has promised dino1 to buy a braun toothbrush for him in this UK/HK trips. We were browsing high and low in London, then Sheffield. Finally after comparing the prices in the Argos catalogue shop, Superdrug and Booths. We spotted one in the Booths, Meadowhall, Sheffield.

Why, the price for this is only £5.90 - very cheap - (we almost ended up not buying one for him at all because the price we saw is too expensive for a toothbrush to us :-P), so we happily brought thetoothbrushh to the cash till.. Ting Ting!! The price scanned was £15.99. What !!! We took it back and walked back to the display rak and check the description and price tag.

The description matched and the price tag indicated is £5.90. For me, I just told dear to forget it because the scanning system should be right. Having worked in the retail industry , and a mum wanted to please a pampered child :-P - she insisted to check with the shop assistant and ask them to honour the price they display...

Oh dear, not in a foreign land though Sheffield is like a second home to us :-P. So I called up the shop assistant, show them the price and description tag with the item. They "happily" said they will check for us. After about 30 minutes, finally they came back and appologised for the waiting, and admitted that they were wrong and it was their mistake and they would sell the item with the price they put up. The grin appeared on my dear's face immediately.....

Will this happen in Malaysia?????

Greedy dear said: "Aya!! We should ask whether we can buy two at that price and dino 2 has one too!!!" - oh what a "dear" dear!!!

We were wondering why dino1 would request such an item, we thought it is under the charm of Miss K :-P Hehe!!
